Our Happy Tails:

Elisie

Female - American Bull Dog Mix - Adopted February 2014

"Our son absolutely loves her! Thank you again so much. She's a wonderful dog!"

- Laura

Oliver

Male - Chocolate Lab Mix - Adopted June 2013

"NLK9 Rescue sent us pictures of a mother and litter they rescued from a high-kill shelter, just days before they were to be euthanized. After seeing him, I knew right away I needed to meet him! It was apparent that without NLK9, Oliver, his brothers, and mother, would have surely died. We are so thankful for NLK9 for rescuing them! We love our little 'Spitfire'!"

Clay

Male - Siberian Husky - May 2013

"My husband and I had been looking for another dog for our family for a few months, we knew we wanted a companion for our Husky, Dante. When we saw Clay, who was with New Leash K9 Rescue, we immediately fell in love. We contacted Kendra at New Leash and inquired about meeting Clay. The adoption process was simple and straightforward, with an application, a home check and an adoption fee. We met with Clay and took him home, and are absolutely elated with him. He fluidly became a member of our family, he's wonderful with our young daughter and he is the sweetest dog we could have hoped for. We thank Kendra for saving Clay and giving him this chance to be a part of our family. Since adopting Clay, we have even fostered a dog for New Leash K9 Rescue, taking her in until she finds her forever home as well. It's a delight to work with this rescue and with Kendra."

Riley

Female - Plott Hound/Lab mix - June 2012

"We had been searching  for a puppy that would be the perfect fit and came across this ad for puppies who had recently battled parvo and survived! As soon as i saw Rileys picture I knew she was the one of us! She fits in perfectly with our family, she even thinks she is one of the cats! She is one of the best dogs, we couldnt have asked for anything better! Thank you NLK9 & Kendra for saving these puppies, nursing them back to health and bringing Riley into our lives!"

Mason

Male - Plott hound/lab mix - Adopted June 2012

"He sits for pictures but eventually ends up laying down for them. He is starting his obedience school so we can stop him from digging up our plants and yard! He'll dig a plant up, and run around the yard with it in his mouth (I wish I had a picture of that!). His run is more of a hop though. He's such a sweet puppy, he thinks he's a lap dog and the la-z-boy recliner that was my dad's he now thinks is his. He is the best! Thank you for letting me adopt him!"
